Come join us...Everyone is welcome at our camp!ABOUT THE POSITION: Gathr is looking for a detailed orientated and self-motivated candidate to join our manufacturing team, as an inventory control specialist supporting our RECREATION segment. As our inventory control specialist, the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting operations with maintaining control of raw materials and finished goods inventory at our wood products production and distribution facility in Burnham, ME.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain control of raw materials (in WIP) and finished goods inventories across work areas ensuring inventories are secure, properly identified, and accessible across production work areas
  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of inventory to ensure incoming and outgoing materials are correct
  • Coordinate work order process to monitor production workflows
  • Record and reconcile work orders and cycle counts daily; support periodic physical inventory counts
  • Assist in cost analysis and reporting of material usage, production yields, wood by-product, scrap-waste, and support standard cost inputs
  • Conduct analysis of inventory levels to assist in the coordination of production and sales orders and forecasts
  • Coordinate purchasing, receipts, and procurement of wood logs
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • A college degree is preferred or two (2) years equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years preferred inventory or manufacturing related experience
SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop
  • Proficient in computer skills, data entry, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and other software-based reporting tools
  • Ability to build credible, effective relationships with co-workers
  • Team player with a growth, development and challenge accepted mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical with reporting fundamentals and quality decision making skills
  • Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

  • Perform duties in a manufacturing operations environment that will require physical exertion of walking the facility multiple times daily with limited outside work in all weather conditions
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer, etc. as well as having the ability to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Communication with customers via telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information
