As an Inventory Control Specialist, your responsibilities include developing and stabilizing an Inventory Control Plan, as well as creating procedures to achieve 98% or higher accuracy. This is an opportunity to work in a developing group within the company striving for inventory accuracy. In this position you will work with many other groups and projects within the facility.
The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds. Work also involves climbing up to 4-6 feet using ladders or raising up to 50 feet using a powered industrial truck. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal Protection Equipment may be required in this role. The position is considered Safety Sensitive.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Inventory Control Plan
* Maintain Master Data related to Physical Inventory
* Develop BI reports to track KPI's and key Warehouse metrics
* Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies
* Schedule and release daily counts
* Review inventory variances
* Monitor and track daily KPI's to ensure accuracy
* Develop process improvements based on findings
* Review OSMI and provide recommendations
* Monitor OSMI scrap rate
* Participate in PCG Team
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, or prior attainment of equivalent work experience
* Proficient in MS Office programs
* Power BI developer knowledge or related software
* Preferred experience in various Inventory Control Systems, Cycle Counting and Process Mapping
* Must have Inventory Flow Experience and understanding of the Supply Chain
* Must be able to operate warehouse equipment
* Must be Analytical and able to resolve inventory errors and be able to help develop better processes to prevent errors in the future
* Proficiency in using project management tools to track progress and report on project status
