Summary

The Senior Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day inventory management within the stores, warehouse shipments, special orders and ecommerce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Monitors and resolves store-to-store pull discrepancies, distribution errors, recall discrepancies and un-received return to vendors (RTV) reports.

* Responsible for addressing questions regarding mis-matched shoes, packaging issues, and tagging problems.

* Partners with Ecommerce in correcting internet issues/transfers/deletions and adjusts as needed.

* Collaborates with stores on compliance/recalls.

* Assists with monitoring missing recalls and makes necessary adjustments.

* Assists with specials order claims and makes necessary adjustments to stores inventories.

* Assists with shipping questions regarding lost or damaged packages or merchandise stolen from packages.

* Makes inventory adjustments to all filed claims.

* Monitors virtual transfer reporting and makes the necessary adjustments and will follow up with managers on any issues.

* Assists with annual inventory.

* Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.

* Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

No previous experience is required. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
