Inventory Control Specialist
The Inventory Control Specialist checks inventory figures, postings and documents to ensure accuracy.
Shift and Schedule
This is a full time position on 1st shift, Monday - Friday, from 7:30am - 4:00pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct a physical inventory of full goods, keying in inventories into spreadsheets and sap. Use of RF scanner, hand count.
Perform an age inventory of product in the warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
Conduct daily check on a physical inventories that need adjustment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Create STO's for transfers to other locations
Handle period ending Inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to Warehouse Operations.
Prepare and maintain and distribute reports related to Inventory.
Continuously review best practice with the production team, and incorporate the best practices with each production schedule.
Provide ordering for MRO, and track daily as needed for deliveries.
Support inventory postings for one of KDP's top customer.
Provide updated loose cup inventory 2X per week for scheduling team to use for Refeeds.
Support KDP network, Essex, and planning and inventory teams KPI's
Report daily to Site Planning Manager
Walk production floor and warehouse daily to check for inventory discrepancies
Identify and coordinate material returns to warehouse

Experience in supply planning or inventory control
Experience using RF Technology
Experience SAP or similar Warehouse Management System
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
Strong Communication and team work skills
