We are currently in the need of a Inventory and Logistics Coordinator I in our Redmon, WA, facility. Schedule: Schedule: 5:00am to 1:30pm, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30am to 4:00, overtime as necessary. Ability to be flexible. POSITION SUMMARY As a part of a small team, you will maintain databases and reconcile actual stock counts to office records, or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records or purchase invoices. Primary point of contact for investigating and correcting inventory discrepancies. Prepare various reports such as inventory balances, and shortages. To do so, you are a proactive, goal-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills who is able to adapt to a dynamic collaborative environment. KEY JOB DUTIES

  • Performs Cycle Counts & Spot Checks for Raw Materials, Organisms, Finished Goods, Packaging Materials, Chemicals, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Consignment Stocks.
  • Continuously updates material movements in Business Central (Bin Locations & Actual Quantities).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments within the organization.
  • Records purchases, maintains database, and reconciles actual stock count to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory, then communicates to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare various reports, such as inventory balance and shortages.
  • Abide by all procedures and Standard Operating Documents.
  • Safely and securely handle products with a forklift or pallet jack, if needed.
  • May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones & radio requests, and assisting internal and external customers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement when applicable.
  • Support the organizations metric goals and objectives.
COMPANY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
  • Must be able to perform other assigned projects and/or duties related to inventory.
  • Must be able to work in temperature-controlled environments (freezers).
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Must be able to lift and move 50 lb from floor to height of 48 inches, if needed.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUACTION REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse
  • High school diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
  • ERP system experience (Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Great Plains etc.)
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiar with 5S and Kanban philosophies
  • Helps drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Attention to detail and focus driven
  • Has experience operating sit-down & stand-up forklifts
