Inventory Control Specialist - Connecticut Social Equity : Job Details

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to manage and track inventory efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of all cannabis products, raw materials, and supplies.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Track incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Work closely with production, packaging, and compliance teams to optimize inventory processes.
• Utilize inventory management software to update and reconcile stock levels.
• Identify discrepancies and investigate inventory shortages or overages.
• Ensure all inventory procedures align with local and state cannabis regulations.
• Assist in receiving shipments and verifying product quantities against invoices.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field preferably with cannabis industry experience.
• Knowledge of Bio-Track or other seed-to-sale tracking systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of state compliance requirements for cannabis inventory.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be 21+ and pass a background check as required by state regulations.
