Summary

The position of Inventory Control Team Leader is responsible for monitoring daily movements of finished product inventory by preparing and maintaining inventory records for the Grand Forks Freezers as well as Lineage Cold Storage in Grand Forks.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.

Work within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others.

Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, sanitized, organized and operable fashion.

Ensure self-compliance with Company policies, plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Maintain necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.

Manages the inventory of inbound and outbound trucks and rails for Grand Forks Freezers and Lineage Cold Storage

Accurately monitors the movement of finished product to ensure First In First Out (FIFO).

Monitors production schedule to ensure finished product has been produced and ready for existing customer and third-party storage shipments.

Conducts finished product cycle counts for High Bay Freezer.

Reconciles inventory daily and audits data. Monitors inventory to assure product is at correct location and ready for shipments.

Tracks and maintains railcar inventory.

Tracks and maintains Error Logs from product shipments.

Tracks and corrects discrepancies from production to freezer as well as from our freezer to customers and third-party storages.

Completes Daily Reports such as but not limited to:

oDaily Capacity Report

oLineage Shuttle Report

oGFK HBF Capacity Tracking by Appointments

oShrink Reports

oDemurrage Reports

oLogistic Score Card

File Rail and Truck Bill of Ladings

Ensure that additional duties and accountabilities required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards.

Utilizes computer and computer programs to communicate, document, and track shift information and ensures that all documents and reports are completed accurately in a timely and efficient manner.

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience

5 years related experience and/or training.

Other Information

Must have successfully completed the Dock Lead Job Skill Evaluation in the Structured Job Training program.
