VACANCY BULLETINPosition: Inventory Control/Warehouse Coordinator I (P1372) Evaluated by: Service Director of Business Job Description: The Inventory Control/Warehouse Coordinator works cooperatively with the Service Director of Business to ensure the successful operation of the school system's warehouse including inventory control, service/product purchasing, and receipt, storage, dispensation, and transportation of goods and materials. Qualifications:
  • Holds a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • Has demonstrated, effective communication and computer skills.
  • Has demonstrated, high ethical, oral, and professional standards
Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance. Location: Central Office Length of Employment: 261 Days Responsibilities: The Inventory Control/Warehouse Coordinator shall have the following responsibilities and duties:
  • To supervise the receipt, storage, dispensation and delivery of goods, materials, supplies and equipment.
  • To provide required trainings for employees in the warehouse.
  • To communicate job tasks in an effective manner.
  • To ensure that goods received conform to specifications.
  • To verify receipt of quantities ordered.
  • To report shortages, overages and damaged goods received.
  • To supervise and maintain an up-to-date inventory and inventory records.
  • To schedule and supervise deliveries and pick-ups.
  • To maintain inventory of surplus equipment and supplies and supervise issuance and receipt of surplus equipment and supplies.
  • To prepare, maintain, and submit required reports for local, state and federal offices in a timely fashion.
  • To design warehouse layout.
  • To ensure that the warehouse is clean and orderly.
  • To follow up on non-delivery of orders within specified time limits.
  • To perform manual labor duties of the position, as needed.
  • To maintain professional work habits
  • To develop policy and procedures for the warehouse.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects as it relates to personnel.
  • To maintain and upgrade professional skills
  • To act as a liaison between departments and schools.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by the Service Director of Business, Assistant Treasurer, or the Treasurer/Business Manager.
