Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary:

Our client in Troy, MI is looking for a GA Inventory Coordinator. This is a Contract position.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced inventory coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the flow of inventory and materials. The General Assembly Inventory Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials and inventory arrive at the manufacturing site in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Associate's degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related field and Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment. Or, High School Diploma and minimum of 5-7 years of experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience as an inventory coordinator or in a similar role in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and tools. NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Previous experience in automotive or a similar industry.
