Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety standards; Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA) and Area Safety Analysis (ASA).
- Be environmentally compliant.
- Perform routine housekeeping in work area(s) as necessary.
- Run daily and weekly reports as required.
- Make necessary adjustments in QAD and Factivity.
- Investigate and determine the reason for inventory variation(s). Notify the planners/ schedulers of inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections. Adjust inventory levels as needed and/or instructed.
- Prepare analysis and reports of causes of inventory error to track trends upon request.
- Assist with training employees (current and new) on how to properly report transactions in Factivity.
- Physically count inventoried items.
- Assist with label and reporting issues.
- Prepare daily and weekly cycle count accuracy reports. Maintain cycle count dates for all part numbers in the item master.
- Verify that inventory is in the correct location.
- Assist with obsolescent part counts.
- Verify package labels and audited identification.
- Assist with service shipment(s) labeling.
- Participate in internal and external audits,
- Request material handling support, when needed, with inventory verification/counts.
- Participate with Annual physical inventory and maintain inventory records.
- Be responsible for handling all necessary documents and maintaining records.
- And other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Tow motor/lift truck operator license may be required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of plant layout, process knowledge, and operational procedures required.
- Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills helpful
