BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the inventory levels and administrating inventory controls that can result in inventory reductions. Position also involves special projects that may directly or indirectly impact inventory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for assigning Purchase Method (Min/Max)

· Reviews min/max levels and make adjustments as necessary

· Monitors schedule releases

· Reviews Push and Pull report

· Inventory management includes maintain and update inventory system

· Analyzes inventory levels

· Reviews open blanket orders every two weeks, adjust deliveries as required if possible

· Reviews item stock status

· Reviews and qualifies current replenishment method, review and qualify current min/max setting

· Reviews non-stockable schedule P.O. reports

· Works with CSR to meet customer sales request

· On-line supplier confirmations and shipping info must be completed by 12:00pm daily

· Collects and researches data.

· Manages difficult situations; Responds promptly and appropriately to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

· Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views;

· Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.

· Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS What You Need:

· Associate's degree (A A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have accounting and/or inventory experience.

· Solid knowledge of accounting principles.

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.

· PC literate with a good working knowledge of Windows based applications.

· While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation starting at $35000 - $50000 depending on experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
