We are fully vertically integrated which enables us to complete tight timelines and exceed customer expectations.Come be a part of where the energy is; where the future of the composites industry is going and where leading edge technology companies come to develop the next generation of composite structures.Job Summary: As part of the Supply Chain Organization and under the Supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Lead will be responsible for all activities related to the storage, movement and transfer of products, component parts, raw materials to, in process (WIP) from receiving to shipping using Fibreworks ERP system. Will also Assist Inventory Manager with day-to-day department operations/procedures and coordinate with Inventory Specialists for all department requirements, to ensure Inventory integrity and accuracy.Job Role:Inventory: 80%
- Ensure the accurate record keeping, storage, Movement and transfer of products, component parts, raw materials to, in process (WIP) and from the warehouse, from receiving to shipping, encouraging FIFO
- Establish best practice inventory measures including tracking, reporting, and root cause analysis for inventory Issues and discrepancies
- Ensure all Returned Goods (RMA's) and Intercompany transfers are properly processed
- Use FWC ERP system to create, maintain inventory locations and stablish new areas to properly segregate conforming from non-conforming produts
- Stablish weekly/monthly/quarterly accurate inventory/cycle counts, A-B-C Method, determine, sustain and improve inventory accuracy
- Using ERP monitor material issuing to work orders, and detect potential Bill of material issues, and make recommendation to adjustments to inventory
- Review, update and create proper SOP for Inventory practices and Ensure Team members are properly trained on them
- Monitor expense and no inventory items working with purchasing to stablish reorder Points and maintain Kanban system
- Maintain a clean, organized, work area, insist and drives a culture of safety to all team members
- Mange a team of Inventory Specialists and Material Handlers, reviewing that daily tasks are completed timely
- Communicate Purchase Requests to Supply Chain Supervisor/Buyers
Shipping /Receiving 10%
- Working Receiving Lead when needed to Assist with pick-ups, deliveries. CF-FWC
- Understand shipping and receiving processes to act as backup to the receiving lead when required
- Assist with shipments and provide man power to the receiving lead when possible for packaging needs, unloading and loading of parts to and from suppliers
- Work with Our NASCAR inventory specialist to learn the processes related to orders, storage, packaging and shipment of parts
Management 10%
- In conjunction with the Inventory Manager you will grow and lead a team reporting to you, have regular one on one meetings with team members
- Attend required company meetings and participate on production schedule meetings
- You will train and mentor new and existing employees
- Assist Manager in hiring selection, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- 2-year degree preferred
- 2-5 -years' experience managing Inventory systems, and managing a small team of people within a manufacturing environment and or machine shop setting.
- Proficient with computers and previous experience with ERP systems
- Familiar with ISO certified facilities, ITAR. Etc.
- Interpersonal skills - ability to work with different departments in the company
- Able to operate a forklift
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to meet deadlines
- Available weekends and holidays as scheduled by management
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must have valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record
