Leads the team of Inventory Management Representatives. Maintains all programs BinReviews. Sets goals and objectives, directs work, establishes and maintains departmental work procedures and standards of the inventory management and C-Parts (CPS) function for the customers assigned.

*** This position is the Lead for Houston, TX. You may be required to travel up to 50% of the time. You will cover PTO, Call-Outs and may be may be required to drive a Freightliner Box Truck.

This position can be very physical and requires being able to lift 40-50lbs a day.****

**What you will do as an Inventory Management Lead:**

* Leads and supports Inventory Management Representatives for WS1, to achieve sales, service, and logistics goals and improve Inventory Management Representatives daily activities to increase customer satisfaction and Wurth profitability.

* Plans work schedules and assigns duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads. Steps in to perform work duties, if needed.

* Responsible for interviewing and providing feedback to HR team and/or Warehouse Manager.

* Resolves personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances, when possible.

* Counsels employees in work-related activities, personal growth, and career development, including performance reviews, rewards and recognition, and disciplinary actions. Recommends hires, transfers, promotions or separations.

* Provides input on capital expenses for all delivery vehicles and Inventory Management needs for region.

* Works in coordination with Warehouse leadership company-wide; assist in identifying, modifying, documenting and implementing Inventory Management standards and processes.

* Works with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that CPS orders are picked and shipped accurately in the timeframe required, meeting all customer specific requirements.

* Creates and performs customer audits of CPS programs for compliance and monitoring of Inventory Management Representatives performance.

* Maintains and fosters relationships, and communicates regularly (and cross-functionally) to deliver improvement to CPS programs and improve logistics productivity throughout the supply chain in support of the customer.

* Works closely with cross functional departments to achieve on time and complete targets via on-site inventory management activities and CPSG optimization.

* Identifies, develops and provides training to Inventory Mangers and the Company per required Company, OSHA, CSA, Safety and DOT requirements.

* Maintains metrics, reports, process documentation, logs, vehicle maintenance & inspection and safety records.

* Supports the CPS Team on new customer start-ups and optimization activities in support of customers.

* Supports workload and routes for Inventory Management Representatives.

* Works with team and cross functionally to identify CPS Program optimization and improvement opportunities.

* Ensures that the Inventory Management Reps have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform required functions.

* Responsible for safety procedures in the department and ensuring employees receive effective and timely training in safe work practices and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations. Demonstrates a commitment to health and safety by participating in safety meetings. Observes Safety policies, reports unsafe acts, hazards, and maintains clean and orderly department.

* May perform IMR Manager duties as a back-up or to support high workloads.

* Other duties, as assigned

**What you need to be an Inventory Management Lead:**

* Prior experience in Fleet Management, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Branch Management, or similar position.

* Supervisory experience is preferred.

* Must have a current Medical Certificate and meet the requirements for driver selection as outlined in the Fleet Policy. Must maintain a clean driving record and be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.

* A CDL may be required for some lead positions

* Must pass Forklift training and maintain Forklift certification

* Excellent written and verbal communications.

* Understanding of vendor managed inventory programs, warehouse operations, and other logistics functions.

* Able to identify projects to improve productivity and efficiency. Has the tenacity to see projects through to completion.

* Keen focus on the customer; ability to sell change programs that result in Company efficiencies and/or customer benefits.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities; able to gather virtual, temporary teams to solve time-critical issues, with positive outcomes for the customers as well as for the company.

* Ability to lead and direct, both cross-functionally (peers in other departments) and within the organization, across multiple geographies.
