Job Description :

FlightWave, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, is looking to fill a full-time Inventory Manager position. We are a dynamic and growing drone technology company focused on the manufacturing of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS drones) for use in defense, public safety, and other government security organizations.

In this role, you will oversee our inventory control systems, manage receiving inspections, kitting for builds, and ensure accuracy in all stock-room related processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing inventory management.

Location Note: The role will start in Santa Monica, but the office is expected to move to the South Bay LA area in 2025.

Key Responsibilities

● Champion new inventory processes in a dynamic startup-like environment.

● Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.

● Receive and inspect components against open purchase orders.

● Manage stock levels, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

● Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure seamless inventory operations.

● Maintain records using software such as Odoo, Arena, SAP, or similar tools.

Qualifications

● 5+ years of experience working directly in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.

● Experience with inventory management software tools and workflows.

● Knowledge of receiving processes and procedures.

● Excellent communication and leadership skills.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

● Familiarity with common incoming inspection tools and equipment, metrology instruments, electrical testing equipment, etc.

● Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus.

Physical Requirements

● Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

● Ability to stand for extended periods, as required by the duties and responsibilities.

● Adeptness in moving around the office, manufacturing facilities, and other workspaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
