**Inventory Manager**

at Landing Moody, AL ****About the Role:****

The **Inventory Manager** is responsible for managing specialist at three warehouses across the US, monitoring warehouse inventories and processes, performing cycle counting duties and transaction audits to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory at all warehouses. Duties also include miscellaneous storage/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

****What You'll Do:****

* Manage three Inventory Specialist and ensure they have good processes in place.

* Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials daily per schedule.

* Ensure that all warehouses have a process in place for cycle counts and the counts are being properly and timely.

* Analyze variances between system and actual counts and provide information to management on any differences.

* Work with PIC manager, warehouse personnel and production supervisors to improve inventory accuracy.

* Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches to locate misclassified inventory.

* Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)

* Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance.

* Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays

* Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

Education, Experience and/or skills Required:

****What You Need:****

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically in excel.

* Knowledge of MRP systems.

* Management or lead experience with related duties.

* Available to travel to all DCs on a periodic basis.

* Able to work in a fast paced environment and propose solution and problem solving solutions on an ad hoc basis.

* Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility

* Regularly operates a computer, computer accessories and phone equipment

* Required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

* Occasionally stoops, kneels, reaches, and carries
