As an Inventory Manager, you will oversee inventory management, optimize processes, collaborate with teams, and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance to support operational and customer needs. Shift Information:
- Monday to Thursday | 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM
General Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication environments
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is highly desirable
Essential Functions:
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to meet production and customer requirements
- Develop and implement inventory control processes to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency
- Work closely with production, procurement, and other teams to ensure inventory levels align with operational needs and customer demands
- Analyze inventory data and generate regular reports for management, including stock levels, turnover rates, and usage trends
- Perform routine inventory audits to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Utilize inventory management software to monitor, track, and forecast inventory levels effectively
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels
- Train, mentor, and oversee inventory team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies
