Inventory Manager - MAU WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS : Job Details

MAU is hiring an Inventory Manager for our client in West Columbia, SC. As an Inventory Manager, you will oversee inventory management, optimize processes, collaborate with teams, and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance to support operational and customer needs. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

• Monday to Thursday | 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM

General Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is highly desirable

Essential Functions:

• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to meet production and customer requirements
• Develop and implement inventory control processes to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency
• Work closely with production, procurement, and other teams to ensure inventory levels align with operational needs and customer demands
• Analyze inventory data and generate regular reports for management, including stock levels, turnover rates, and usage trends
• Perform routine inventory audits to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Utilize inventory management software to monitor, track, and forecast inventory levels effectively
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels
• Train, mentor, and oversee inventory team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies
