As a Stockroom & Merchandising Manager, you'll oversee stockroom organization, inventory control, and merchandising strategies to ensure seamless product flow and alignment with customer needs. Your Responsibilities:
As a Stockroom & Merchandising Manager, you will:
- Manage Stockroom Operations: Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the stockroom while optimizing space and workflows for small parts.
- Oversee Receiving & Inspection: Supervise incoming shipments, inspect products for accuracy and quality, and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Ensure Accurate Shipping: Maintain timely and compliant packing, labeling, and shipment of small parts to meet customer expectations.
- Control Inventory: Forecast demand, track usage patterns, and implement systems to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing errors or losses.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Develop and enforce quality control measures to ensure all parts meet company and customer requirements.
- Handle Small Parts Efficiently: Establish best practices for the safe and effective handling of detailed components.
- Lead & Develop a Team: Train, supervise, and evaluate stockroom personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with merchandising, sales, and operations teams to align product flow with business goals.
- Analyze & Report Performance: Prepare and present reports on inventory accuracy, stockroom efficiency, and shipping metrics.
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience (required).
- 5+ years in merchandising, retail management, or a related field
- 3+ years in stockroom management or inventory control.
- Proficiency in merchandising software, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong team-building abilities, data analysis skills, and a track record of making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality control.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising best practices and retail store operations.
- US Citizenship is a requirement for this job due to ITAR regulations.
