THE ROLE As a key member of the Metropolitan Market team, the Inventory Process Manager will work closely with our Accounting and store Operations teams in managing the receiving process and month-end inventory at all our store locations. The Inventory Process Manager will manage the receiving process and be the conduit between the Receivers at the store and the Accounts Payable team. Additionally, the Inventory Process Manager will manage the full cycle of the inventory process. This is a highly collaborative role throughout the organization. The successful candidate will have a critical eye for detail and the ability to work well with all levels of the organization in completing key critical tasks. This position is on-site and requires the candidate to have reliable transportation. Travel to the stores will be required 3 days out of the week and 2 days at our Bellevue Retail Support Center. - Managing the full cycle of the receiving process
- Managing the full cycle of month end inventory
- Train new Receivers
- Provide receiving support and be the conduit between Receivers and Accounts Payable.
- Facilitate communication with Accounting, Data Ops, and store Ops
- Maintain and update the inventory SOP
- Schedule and reconcile inventories for the stores and coordinate results with Accounting
- Other projects as assigned by Finance or store Operations

- Three or more years of successful experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or logistics
- Proven experience overseeing inventory across multiple locations, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations
- In-depth knowledge of effective inventory control methods, with the ability to implement best practices that enhance overall operational efficiency
- Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and driving cost reduction
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - particularly with Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process documentation
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral forms effectively, at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities to assess data, generate insights, and support informed decision-making
- Creating and writing position specific materials and process documentation
- Demonstrated ability to build trust based relationships with team members
- Ability to travel between store and office locations
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality output while working within deadlines
- Demonstrates high level of self-motivation, takes initiative and problem solves
- Proven ability to interact and perform all job responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality
