The Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Coordinates shipping and receiving activities and manages inventories of equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for the Manufacturing Business Unit. Upholds EOSYS standards of Quality and Excellence by inspecting the incoming and outgoing shipments of the Manufacturing team for accuracy. Requirements Inventory, Shipping and Receiving

  • Processes items for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Maintains accurate records of items shipped and received.
  • Inventories and replenishes stock items for the Manufacturing business unit. Assists with inventory system maintenance related to stocking agreements.
  • Serves as a first point of contact for receiving and handling all items and material delivered to the Manufacturing area.
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
  • Confers with vendors regarding returns or credit memos and properly returns items to vendors for credit or exchange.
  • Assists in management of excess and obsolete material.
Best Practices and Quality Responsibilities
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in accuracy, efficiency, and workmanship for Manufacturing projects. Reports issues that require follow-up or investigation.
  • Identifies and incorporates improvements to Manufacturing quality audit processes.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two-year technical school, trade school, electrical apprenticeship program, contractor's license or other related industry certificates or licensure a plus.
  • Two or more years of experience in any of the following or equivalent experience:
- Inventory - Shipping and Receiving - Logistics Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite and various other industry related software and hardware as required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Must have ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write concise correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to distinguish between the full range of colors in the color spectrum to work with electrical wires and equipment.
  • Ability to work with hands in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
  • Ability to use a variety of power tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids.
  • Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Schedule Typical schedule is 7:30 am - 8 am start; 8 hour shift. Must be able to work extended hours as required.
