Inventory Specialist I - Scientific Research Corporation : Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings based on manager designated priorities

* Reviews production schedules and to determine material requirements

* Arranges transfer of materials to meet movement schedules

* Examines material to verify type and quantities specified on movement requests

* Compiles reports of quantity and type of material on hand

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

* High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in material warehousing, material movement/flow, and tracking and reporting of on-hand material inventories

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience using CMPRO, or NSLC or NAVSUP warehouse processes/systems

* Familiarity with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance standards will be given special consideration

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
