***What you will do***

We are seeking a motivated and energetic ***Inventory Specialist*** to join our growing and dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto ! The Inventory Specialist position provides support to the Compliance and Legal Team with tasks related to inventory counts, audits, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position reports directly to the Director of Compliance and Inventory Management.

***Highlighted Responsibilities***

Conduct inventory audits, including physical counts and weight audits, according to SOP and work instructions.

Compile information and prepare reports as needed.

Assist with waste product sorting and destruction.

Provide support to the Security Transport Team in preparation of products for transportation and delivery.

Occasionally assist security team on transportation shifts.

Work collaboratively with team members from other departments.

Provide project management support to the Inventory Manager and Director of Compliance and Inventory Management as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

***Qualifications***

**Required**

2 years minimum employment experience in a role with responsibility for inventory tasks and functions.

Experience with record keeping and internal auditing.

Ability to follow standard operating procedures and policies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products.

Ability to collect, research, and analyze data.

Ability to plan and prioritize work activity, set and meet goals, and manage work load effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements of the job include: The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs if necessary. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.

High degree of focus and attention to detail

High School Diploma.

Must be 21 years or older.

**Preferred**

Experience in an inventory role in cannabis industry or a manufacturing and/or distribution center environment

Familiarity with industry inventory systems, such as BioTrack, Leaf Logix, MJ Freeway, METRC, Leafly, Dutchie, etc.

Experience with general inspection instruments (ie calipers, micrometer, scales, etc)

2-year Vocational or Technical degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Science, or other related field.
