Since 1892, this client has been producing their environmentally friendly products and are manufactured in 19 plants and warehouses in North America, Europe and Asia.They are looking to hire an Inventory Specialist that is responsible for the procurement of finished goods inventory at all external warehouses and tolling locations. This role will work closely with Customer Service, Sales and Technical Managers to communicate and make the necessary corrections for discrepancies, movement of aged inventory, and discontinuing of stocking items, based on customer order patterns.To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience as an inventory specialist type person in either the military or civilian sectors. Ideally, they want someone who has managed the inventory of multiple departments /or warehouse types (thinks shops or distribution centers in the military). Job description:- Function as the key contact for external warehouses- Provide a daily shipping report for outgoing orders to warehouse contacts- Manage Inventory- Maintain appropriate stock by analyzing historical usage/customer order patterns- Review stocking requests with sales and technical leads on an annual basis- Perform inventory reconciliations for external warehouses- Report aging inventory at external warehouses to the CS manager, sales managers and technical managers to determine product disposition- Initiate and post transfers of inventory back to manufacturing locations- Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure best practices are used to manage inventory- Process owner for inventory management procedures at external warehousesLocations, Dallas, TX; Reading, PA; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC.$29 - $31/hour. Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
