With primary operating locations in Warrenton, VA, San Antonio, TX and Colorado Springs, CO, the Lone Wolf program supports users around the globe.Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging IT productsPerforming quality checks on stored inventory and identifying inventory that is End of Sale/End of Service LifeUpdating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholdersStudying sales numbers and forecasting future inventory needsAssisting with validating parts requests against an Authorized Master Parts ListSupporting a wide array of customers as part of a complex team of contractors and government personnel.Processing property inventories, equipment transfers, turn-in, and other property accountability across a large portfolio.Conducting property inventory of all government furnished equipment and assigned property supporting various efforts.Providing logistics expertise while coordinating with diverse skillsets.Overseeing equipment delivery and property transfers between government entities.Providing recommendations with regards to best practices and develop new processes to increase performance and efficiency.Ensuring all property accountability documentation associated with orders is completed and updated in the inventory management database.Serving as the focal point of ongoing operations and rapid delivery of equipment and services to the customer.Ensuring orders are fulfilled rapidly and on time to meet project schedules.Working closely with project managers and functional leads to ensure seamless coordination of schedules in accomplishment of assigned tasks#divergentPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience using integrated logistics systems to track and manage propertyExperience with Microsoft Office applications such as Power BI, Word, Outlook, and SharePointAbility to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheetsAbility to travel up to 25%Must be able to remain in a stationary position (50%)Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printerMust be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and to exchange accurate information in these situationsMust be able crouch, kneel, or stoop for the intention of performing inventoriesMust be able to read fine printMust be able to lift 50 pounds unaidedMust be able to physically relocate equipment and propertyClearance Required:Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCIMinimum Experience:3-5 years of relevant experiencePreferred:Experience with IBM MaximoExperience with Service Now
