Job Description :
Classification: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt; Pay Grade: H Location: SEICAA's Service Area (Based in Pocatello, Idaho) Benefits: Health/Vision/Dental; Life Insurance; Short Term Disability; Simple IRA Reports To: Weatherization Director Requirements Overview of Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative, technical, and inventory control support (utilizing state WX inventory tracking systems) for SEICAA's WX division, its staff, and its participants; refer participants to other SEICAA services as needed.
  • Prepare and compile documentation for State Weatherization Plans, central statewide contract bidding processes, requests for payments and other fiscal obligations, and for monitors and audits.
  • Schedule audits and production appointments.
  • Clerical duties as needed, including but not limited to data entry, inventory, and recordkeeping; Control inventory at all phases through recordkeeping processes including receiving, tracking, physical counts, check-out, and invoicing.
  • Professionally maintain contact with staff, participants, and partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Additional college, vocational, or other training/certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience of information/referral services, clerical duties, and inventory control duties.
  • Experience with computerized inventory management and tracking systems.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations and government programs.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and safety equipment in an inventory/warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of Weatherization processes, funding, and administration of government-funded programs, including oversite of funds and funding sources.
  • Knowledge of administrative, clerical, and office practices.
  • Knowledge of SEICAA services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Skills and Abilities
  • Computer skills; Familiarity with typical office technologies.
  • Clerical skills (filing, recordkeeping, data entry, compliance, etc.).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Organized, attention to detail, and punctual.
  • Self-directed; Can work independently and in a team; Can establish working relationships with Agency employees, the public, and partners; Follows instructions; Follows policies and procedures; Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations without endangering self or others.
Conditions
  • Bondable, insurable under SEICAA's insurance policy, and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Able to attend meetings or training opportunities to enhance expertise and performance as scheduled.
  • Willing to travel on Agency business at Agency reimbursement rates.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must successfully pass mandatory pre-employment drug and background screening.
