Job Description :

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within the Kewaunee facilities. This includes receiving, storing and distributing goods while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) to track inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and generate reports.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and damages.
  • Responsible for closing out work orders to ensure accurate recordkeeping of completed jobs.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Manage relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Inspect goods for defects and damages upon receipt and before shipment.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and new technologies related to inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and meet customer demands.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Inventory Specialist members ensuring company policies and procedures are enforced.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Supply Chain., Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external suppliers.
  • Proven experience with inventory control systems.
