Description Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.Job Summary: Monitor and audit inventory points within manufacturing and help to ensure inventory accuracy.Tools and Equipment Used: SAPEssential Functions: Perform the following duties according to IS0 9001 work instructions and standards:

• Monitor inventory points daily/weekly to ensure accuracy
• Work with assigned department inventory auditors to locate missing rolls or tickets promptly to avoid inventory stalls in each area.
• Work with each department on daily cycle counts to ensure accuracy
• Notify department managers of areas, and associates that are not compliant with audits
• Fix inventory discrepancies and inaccuracies within SAP by following proper procedures to settle orders correctly.
• Assemble and work with the year-end audit team and external auditors on inventory audits.
• Perform other duties when assigned by the Supervisor. This includes all 5S assignments.
• Work scheduled overtime.

Safety:

• Safely perform all duties following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
• Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
• A safety belt/harness is required when using motorized equipment.

Position Requirements Qualifications:

• Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
• Analytical thinking skills
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Physical ability to perform the job.
• Must have a license to operate PIT equipment. (i.e.cherry picker, etc.) *Training is done in-house.
