Inventory Team Lead 2nd Shift - Lakeshirts : Job Details

LEAD THE TEAM | MODEL, INSPIRE, CHALLENGE, ENABLE, ENCOURAGETHE OPPORTUNITY:Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, this position is responsible for direct leadership and productivity of assigned Inventory employees, communicating with team members regarding performance, priorities, work load and deadlines.The Inventory Lead utilizes knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure daily safety, quality, cost and production goals are met.Schedule: Mon-Thurs 4pm-2amA Typical Day (job functions) | Assign workflow + Prioritize + Review + Motivate* Lead, manage and ensure all safety initiatives are adhered to - ZERO Accident Mentality.* Responsible for 6S, safety and quality ensuring team members receive effective & timely training.* Inventory control including cycle count and troubleshooting (adjustments/transfers)*

Update - Tier boards, hour by hours performance boards, participate in GEMBA walks (observe, engage & improve)* Follow daily, weekly & monthly standard works. (Continuously improve the process)* Conducts daily check-ins with team and reports performance to Inventory Supervisor.* Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor to overcome any team member concerns and performance issues.* Conduct quarterly performance and yearly increase reviews with employees in conjunction with supervisor.* Review processes periodically to increase efficiency.* Understands and utilizes production reports and work orders to organize and manage priorities.* Assigns daily workflow to specialist staff.* Inventory control including cycle count and troubleshooting (adjustments/transfers)* Works actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results.* Ensure team members are appropriately trained in the areas of job responsibility, safety, and company policy* Motivate all team members to achieve personal and department success.* Other duties as assigned including special projects.Skills (qualifications) | Effective Leadership & Communication + Assess Needs + Prioritize* Ability to assess needs and prioritize.* Train the Trainer Program and LEAD workshop completion preferred within 90 days of employment.* Forklift certification required.* Ability to communicate effectively and assigned team members.* High school diploma or GED required.* Ability to work well independently and as a team.* Accuracy is required, must understand order form and be able to count.* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace working environment.* Must be self-directed & self-motivated.* Knowledge of MS Office products: Excel, Word, etc.* Ability to be on your feet 10+ hrs/day.* Supervisory background experience required.* Hours must be flexible according to workloads.OUR CULTURE IS ONE-OF-A-KIND AND TRULY SETS US APART.
