Investment Associate, Private Equity - InVenture : Job Details

My client is a leading Renewable Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure fund who is looking for an Associate to join their Investment team in a hybrid capacity out of New York or San Francisco.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree and 2-6 years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
• University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or other related field
• 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in renewable energy project finance or Investment Banking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel
• Excellent financial modeling skills. Strong knowledge of economic concepts
• Detail-oriented and capable of driving multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly, in both oral and written forms
• Experience working with financial models for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Storage, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work closely with members of different business groups and functions of a global company at all levels
• Strong desire to advance the adoption of renewable energy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the transaction negotiation with tax equity/debt financing partners
• Contribute to marketing presentations for potential financing & equity partners.
• Financial modeling of Renewables and Sustainable Infra projects in line with the funds' mandate
• Evaluate M&A opportunities for the company
• Prepare internal committee presentations (financial statements, sensitivities) to Partners in relation to investment decisions
