Job Description :

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Investment Banking Director to join their growing platform in New York. The successful candidate will play a critical role in originating, structuring, and executing equity transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements. This position requires a strong understanding of the equity markets, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the origination and execution of equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on equity financing options and market conditions.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including pitch books, offering memoranda, and roadshow presentations.
  • Conduct financial analysis and valuation to support transaction structuring and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including research, sales, and trading, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on equity capital markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing equity transactions.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Deep understanding of equity markets, securities regulations, and market trends.
