About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our dynamic Operations team. You will play a key role in performing middle-office/post-trade support functions and contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening critical business activities and managing operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform trade reconciliations across asset classes.
  • Define and implement operational risk controls.
  • Reconcile internal positions with multiple counterparties and asset classes.
  • Manage administrative positions, transactions, and cash reconciliation exceptions.
  • Oversee T+0 matching and settlements across various markets.
  • Handle mandatory/voluntary corporate actions and post-trade lifecycle events.
  • Analyze operational platforms to identify inefficiencies and establish straight-through processing (STP).
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design and deliver automated processes.
  • Track, resolve, and remediate operational incidents.

Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field with a strong academic record.
  • Experience: 5+ years of operations experience in an investment management firm, fund administrator, or bank.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full trade lifecycle and post-trade processing for equities and macro asset classes.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Tableau and Alteryx is a plus.
  • Strong data analytical skills to compile datasets, identify trends, and detect anomalies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
