CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing:
- Proactively sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, building a robust deal pipeline through industry relationships.
- Utilizing advanced data analysis tools to extract actionable insights from large datasets and drive investment strategies.
- Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to identify trends and potential investments.
Due Diligence:
- Conducting in-depth due diligence on potential investments from pre-Seed to pre-IPO, including rigorous financial modeling, market analysis, and competitor assessments.
- Crafting detailed investment memos and presentations, communicating key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and articulating clear investment theses, leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to support decision-making.
- Leading special projects and strategic initiatives within the firm, including the exploration of emerging trends and new market opportunities.
Portfolio Company and LP Support:
- Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies, providing strategic insights to drive growth and optimize performance.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with co-investors, portfolio company management teams, Limited Partners, and industry partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm, venture capital fund, or in gaming corporate development or strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field from a top-tier institution, with a GPA of 3.7+ / 4.0.
- Exceptional analytical and Excel financial modeling skills, with a proven ability to identify and interpret trends within large data sets.
- Experience in crafting detailed investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint and Word, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships and an eagerness to develop networking skills.
- Leadership instincts, with experience in taking initiative and driving projects to completion.
- Track record of success in a high-performance environment, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure.
