This is a project management / product specialist (and sales support) position for an investor focused on sustainable infrastructure and energy private equity. The position provides the opportunity to work directly alongside the firm's Partner of IR & Capital Formation in New York. The firm is looking for a long-term hire, with expected room for growth and promotion. This position will take an integral role in all facets of investor relations, with a focus in:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests from existing investors, consultants and prospective clients requiring data-related information and written material on the firm
  • Quickly develop an understanding of the firm's investment strategies to support the creation and regular update of all marketing and client service materials
  • Maintain/update repository of data, charts, graphics, presentations and written responses to be used for various marketing needs
  • Update online consultant and third-party databases with firm and investment information and manage and complete inbound DDQs and RFPs
  • Manage the production of quarterly client reports including the creation of graphs, checking of data, and general presentation development
  • Update marketing and client service presentation books as well as content on the firm's investor portal and website as needed
  • Assist & support in all facets of the marketing and fundraising process for prospective LPs, including due diligence request management and execution
  • Manage the firm's inbound diligence requests and work across teams to complete and respond to investor inquiries
  • Manage the generation and posting of quarterly and annual investor letters, including valuation commentary.
  • Monitor IR and Info inboxes and respond to inbound investor inquires
  • Manage & maintain data rooms for marketing purposes and create briefing notes for investor meetings as applicable
  • Assist in the management and execution of the firm's annual investor meeting
  • Maintain updated distribution/communication lists and timely posting to the investor portal of relevant communications
  • Work closely with legal and compliance to ensure issue spotting / raising issues to legal and compliance related to requests by LPs and materials prepared internally for distribution
  • Be willing to perform special projects for the IR team as requested

Requirements:

  • 1 – 4 years of experience in a related field of private equity, investment banking, consulting, or illiquid fund placement
  • Very strong preference for those who have investment banking backgrounds and are familiar/have experience working with illiquid (private equity/real assets) strategies
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative
