This work has supported small business owners struggling to gain access to capital, families seeking to own homes and individuals looking for a better way to manage their hard-earned money with a financial institution they can trust.Job SummaryThe Investor Relations Deposit Associate will serve as part of HOPE's Investor Relations (IR) team, securing and managing deposits from socially responsible investors that fuel HOPE's mission to create opportunity where it is needed most, providing financial products and services to low-income people and places across the Deep South.This position will be responsible for a range of duties that support raising and retaining deposits, including supporting relationships with depositors who are motivated by HOPE's mission; opening member accounts and deposits; coordinating the regular review and updates to related policies and procedures; and working with VPs to prepare and circulate materials for presentations. Work requires that the employee use considerable judgment and creativity in organizing the workflow and assuring adherence to National Credit Union Administration regulations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGather and process necessary documentation for opening HOPE's Transformational Deposit product and other IR related certificates.Manage data entry for IR related deposit transactions and account updates in Symitar/Episys Quest, collaborating with Retail as necessary to ensure accounts and deposits are entered correctly.Coordinate regular communication with depositors, including contacting depositors to renew their deposit, thanking depositors for new and renewed deposits, and communicating the impact of their deposits.Conduct research on prospective depositors or referral partners (both individual/institutional).Manage data entry of depositors into HOPE's Salesforce database.Support development of materials to market Transformational Deposit product, including preparing materials and research for HOPE participation in impact investing conferences, including attending conferences as appropriate.Actively manage IR's certificate policies and procedures, including partnering with Retail on process improvements and to ensure IR is adhering to compliance requirements.Manage and execute reporting on certificate activity to management and board.Works on special projects at the request of CEO and VPs of Investor Relations.Other duties as required.Desired QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.3 to 5 years of experience performing the duties described in the Primary and Essential Functions above; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Two or more years of experience in banking/finance in areas related to job requirements preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
