Job Description

The Invoicing Specialist is responsible for reviewing invoice accuracy and reconciling invoices that may be missing a PO number, service contract reference, or accounting stream to be paid. This role requires a sense of urgency and an analytical mindset, as it will be heavily research-based. The Invoicing Specialist will communicate with external vendors and internal business owners to help resolve outstanding invoice payments.

Performance Expectations

Client will show this employee their internal process and workflow in the Infor system. This team doesn't get into the complexity of invoices, rather they're purely conducting research to determine what steps need to be taken in order to pay unresolved invoices. They will first look to confirm that an invoice has been registered in Infor. Then, they will determine whether or not the invoice has been paid. If it's been paid, they will notify the vendor and provide backup. If it's not been paid, they will look for PO numbers, service contract info, and/or the accounting stream from the business owner before finally reaching out to Client's accounting team to have the invoice paid immediately.
