Your Role With Us:Provides direct project management to projects assigned by Information Services.Ensures highly skilled and timely project management and outcomes fulfillment through the effective engagement of teams, securing their commitment to the work. Identifies innovative solutions to ensure optimal outcomes, securing appropriate resources, leadership coaching, and development of metrics to effectively report results. Establishes and documents project plans, clearly specifying deliverables, deliverable ownership and the project's critical path. Monitors progress of projects against schedule, communicating progress and issues as appropriate.Assures monthly or appropriate reporting of project status of all assigned projects with the responsibility to update project sponsors and executives. Assists Leadership with strategy and project deployment in coordination between strategically aligned projects and the Salem Health Production System projects as they develop. Coaches leaders and teams on process improvement strategies, benefits and methodologies. Ensures that process improvement efforts preserve and enhance quality and service as well as meet financial objectives. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management required; Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a health care setting preferred. Experience with process improvement tools and with project management tools and techniques required. Proven track record of successfully leading change initiatives & leading cross-functional teams and implementing change initiatives required. Experience with engaging engineering resources; Understands how projects, portfolios and programs tie together.Specific training in business process design/redesign methodologies, and proven track record in their application in a healthcare setting required. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead change initiatives required; Experience as a project manager involving multiple departments required. Skilled facilitator experienced with successfully managing change on an organizational level through engaging stakeholders. Ability to lead through influence and collaboration' Excellent skills in verbal and written communication; Ability to track and manage multiple, complex projects and priorities. Demonstrated competencies in project management to include project chartering, project planning with detailed work breakdown structure and Gantt, management planning for quality assurance, risk mitigation, human resource management, and change management.
