The Part-Time IT Administrator will maintain the security and efficiency of eVisit's IT systems for the distributed workforce. This individual will oversee the configuration and security management of employee computing devices, including Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.
They will also be responsible for deploying network hardware and software, and providing high-level workstation support. The role also involves user training, license tracking, and managing access to network and cloud resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the configuration management of employee computing devices with employees distributed globally.
Installing, testing, and deploying software on employee computers
Serving as Level 3 workstation and device support for Mac, Windows, Linux, and mobile devices
Identifying, scheduling, and implementing patches and upgrades to all staff systems on Mac, Windows, and Linux laptops
Maintaining network and computer system security
Installing and maintaining the eVisit Identity Management System with agents installed on all PCs and non-cloud systems
Ensuring no unauthorized software is installed
Pushing patches, updates, and required software to PCs
Erasing terminated or resigned employees' systems
Retrieving terminated employee systems for scanning, erasing, and refreshing to be redistributed
Evaluating and optimizing network and system performance
Adding users to the appropriate cloud assets is important
Assigning and updating security permissions on the network and cloud assets
Assigning and tracking licenses for authorized software
Training users in the proper use of hardware and software (only some, not all)
Interpreting and solving problems when a user or an automated monitoring system produces an alert -Crowdstrike, MDM
Deploying, supporting, and monitoring the following tools:
Zoho Manage Engine
VPN Networks
Crowdstrike
Google Workspace (GSuite) and Gmail
Barracuda or similar email security
Office 365
Sophos End Point Protection
Tenable
Requirements
Minimum of five years' user support experience or service desk support in procedural and technical topics
Minimum of three years experience with HIPAA healthcare environments
Network administration experience
Demonstrated ability to learn and master new technical skills or technology
Demonstrated problem analysis and troubleshooting ability
Database and Active Directory exposure managing permissions and access to network resources
Skilled in communication and collaboration skills
Additional Skills or Experience:
Azure or AWS cloud technologies
Public Key Infrastructure technologies
Scripting languages
Agile production development life cycle
Cybersecurity training or certifications
Part-Time Specifics
This job will be hourly
The successful candidate will work flexible hours during a normal 8 to 5 working day.
Some weekend support may be required but not expected.
Working over 20 hours per week will require supervisor approval based on specific tasks.
Time sheet submittals will be required
