***LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED*** Our client is currently seeking an IT Analyst for their New York office. This is an on-site position, requiring attendance five days a week, with on-call responsibilities one weekend per month. Ideal candidates should have experience working in law firms and providing help desk support. The salary range is in the low to mid 80s, commensurate with experience. Position Overview: The IT Analyst will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and support, managing daily IT operations, and providing technology assistance for meetings and events. Additionally, the role includes participating in IT projects, contributing to continuous service improvements, and enhancing organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Offer technical support and solutions, managing escalations related to software and hardware issues.
- Promote and support the integration of new technologies.
- Facilitate and support video conferences, presentations, and client meetings, ensuring smooth execution.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate meeting schedules and events.
- Install and maintain computer software in accordance with departmental standards.
- Work across IT teams to ensure timely escalation and resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Maintain office computers, printers, and ensure accurate asset management.
- Use call tracking technology to manage service requests from initiation to resolution, ensuring proper documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and customers, keeping them updated on the status of their service requests.
- Participate in IT initiatives and deployments, ensuring effective training and user acceptance of software.
- Support mobile devices and remote access tools.
- Handle planned service events and respond to unplanned outages in collaboration with relevant IT groups.
- Adhere to data security policies and best practices to ensure the protection of firm data.
- Work beyond scheduled hours as needed for planned and unplanned tasks; light travel may be required.
Required Proficiencies:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in EMS conference room systems, Intapp Time, Citrix/VPN, and mobile technologies (iOS, iPad OS).
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, document management systems (iManage/Work 10), and customer service principles.
- Expertise in data security practices and project management.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience providing technical support for software, hardware, and networking technologies.
- Experience in LAN/WAN/network system support and client PC operating system maintenance.
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is highly preferred.
