IT Analyst - WITRON Service : Job Details

Join Our Team as an IT Analyst!Are numbers your thing? How about millions of data points in thousands of tables? Dive into an exciting role with us, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities! As our IT Analyst you will be the primary support for our Software Development team and IT Developers. You will provide frontline service and be a crucial part of the continuous software enhancements and new technology deployment for our high-profile customers. As an IT Analyst, you will:

• Work with the IT project leads side by side on very large logistic projects and support various tasks at first. Once your knowledge is solidified, you will get your own smaller projects to complete.
• Communicating problems and issues to developers that are reported by the customer after an initial investigation of the issue.
• Using reports (MIS) and Oracle database to analyze problems, errors and potential tweaks to the software.
• Learning and understand the WITRON WMS system.
• Debug, test and identify issues for our development team and our service teams around the world.
• Creating new projects based on existing templates and turn over to IT Programmers for development.

Requirements:

• Able to work independently, able to connect dots and having a Can-Do attitude.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and Server/Client Environment.
• Understanding log files, analyzing problems and being able to communicate with teams in both the US and Germany.
• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft database including T-SQL
• SQL Debugging (preferred)
• Experience in C++ programming (preferred)
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience
• 1-2 years' of experience with Application Software Development based on Microsoft Client - Server architecture and Databases
• Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery and technical documentation

Travel:

• Travel Enthusiast: Be prepared to travel locally and internationally, with travel constituting 50% of the role.
