As a Senior IT Project Engineer, you will be the go-to problem solver, handling complex issues with a down-to-earth approach. In addition to addressing Help Desk Team escalations, your role involves diving deep into system issues, ensuring seamless system upgrades, and contributing to the design and implementation of robust system architectures. This role is on-site in Burlington, VT, with some local travel to client sites required. Responsibilities:
- Support and implement Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Hyper-V, Windows registry, and NPS.
- Tackle network issues across diverse hardware platforms, leveraging practical knowledge of VLANs, TCP/IP v4/v6, QoS, DSCP, VPN, NAT, routing, and wireless technologies.
- Implement, support, and maintain mail services for clients using Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting in collaboration with on-site technicians and clients.
- Handle help desk team service ticket escalations.
- Collaborate with VIP clients, breaking down complex information in easily understandable terms.
- Identify areas for improvement both for clients and internally while working on resolving issues.

- Demonstrated knowledge of systems, software, and architecture in business environments.
- Strong reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
- Wide array of technical knowledge to fulfill responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex tasks for clients.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior MSP experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation for potential on-site support and implementation.
