We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Applications Director with strong expertise and depth with business systems to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our enterprise applications support and enhance our operations. About the Job: The IT Applications Director will oversee the development, implementation, administration and maintenance of the company's enterprise applications. This role provides critical technology support to all aspects of our organization to advance primary and critical business initiatives and move the mission of Magnolia Medical Technologies forward. The incumbent will lead a team of contractors/vendors, collaborating with various internal department stakeholders, to understand the business needs, and ensure that business systems are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. IT Applications serves as support administration for a wide range of services across the Microsoft 365, and specifically the ERP D365 environments, commercial productivity platforms and will also support primary systems and middleware that integrates these productivity platforms with MMT's enterprise subscription services and IAM services. As existing systems are developed and new systems are onboarded, duties involve automating, maintaining, upgrading, enhancing, documenting, monitoring, and providing support for these productivity platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Application Management: Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise applications. Ensure applications are aligned with business needs and processes. Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects related to business applications, including new implementations, upgrades, and integrations. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project schedule, deliverables and outcomes. Lead the company's Soc2 attestation and HIPAA compliance efforts Team Leadership: Lead and mentor technical professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance meets and exceeds business objectives. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities. Business Analysis: Work closely with business units to understand their processes and requirements. Conduct needs assessments and recommend technological solutions to improve business processes. Ability to recognize and analyze data from business systems to ensure output supports business data administration and decision support, providing valuable information outcomes to the business. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the IT team and adept at translating complex IT information to business users. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor performance meets organizational expectations. Maintain and monitor business systems budgets System Integration and Optimization: Ensure seamless integration between various business systems and other IT infrastructure. Identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement. Implement best practices for system usage and data management. Support and Maintenance: Provide high-level support for business applications, resolving issues and minimizing downtime. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in IT applications management, with a focus and demonstrated expertise with business systems. Demonstrated administration required for (ERP) MSDynamics365 F&O, CRM applications (SalesForce), Database Management (Snowflake), Data Analytics (Tableau) and other enterprise applications Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with system integration, data management, and optimization. Knowledge of ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
