Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job SummaryThe IT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the business by driving application and business process transformation. Provide best practices and value-added solution design recommendations and deliver on technology driven solutions.Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with the Product and Application Team to define requirements, evaluate potential solutions and define future state business processes.
  • Create analysis artifacts and deliverables such as business requirements, user stories, functional requirements, and business rules.
  • Learn the Product and Application systems to make recommendations and support software enhancements.
  • Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and communicate recommendations.
  • Ensure new ideas and change requests represent what the user community requires to work more efficiently and is aligned with the business goals.
  • Supports Project Managers with managing project scope, change control, key value drivers, and critical outcomes for assigned IT projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Represent Product and Application Team and company when communicating to vendors and software implementors.
  • Identifies project risks and supports mitigation plans.
  • Develops training materials for end users and facilitates applicable training on new applications.
  • Develops and maintains current knowledge of all product business area.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an IT business analyst or similar role.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' application implementation experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent certification required, College degree a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications.
  • Significant knowledge and experience with HR processes and workflows.
  • Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with agile principals, driving decision making and aligning the team on objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to influence customer's expectations and develop win-win outcomes.
  • Application Administration i.e., audit and compliance controls experience.
  • Experience with SDLC methodology and promotion to production experience
  • Experience with Products and Application developments
Preferred Skills
  • Significant knowledge and experience with building scripts and windows services in Python, VBA and other platforms.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence and other product development tools.
  • Strong and effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with agile principals, driving decision making and aligning the team on objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to influence customer's expectations and develop win-win outcomes.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and/or below shoulder.
  • Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
  • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
  • Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
