Position - IT Business Analyst - Investment Operations Location - El Segundo, Ca (50 Miles only No relocation) Duration- 6 Months+ Interview: Phone/Skype End Client: - 11 Recruiting , EC- Apollo Visa: Any vis Job Description: We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team, dedicated to optimizing the backend operations at a leading investment firm. This role focuses on enhancing our systems and processes in areas such as residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing. Responsibilities:
  • nalyze and map backend workflows, particularly in settlements, trade processing, and residential mortgage operations, to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support data analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements and new features.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions, prepare detailed documentation, and ensure clear communication between technical teams and business users.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, including setting timelines, milestones, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
  • Perform regular system audits and prepare reports for management highlighting potential issues and solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role within an investment firm.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
  • In-depth understanding of investment operations, including residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with specific financial software and platforms relevant to investment operations.
