POSITION: IT Business AnalystJob Description:The IT Business Analyst will be the point person for supporting Continental's ERP - Infor LN.This person will work closely with both the Business, IT (Continental and PPI) and 3rd party IT service providers to ensure successful delivery of ongoing app services and solutions. Key responsibilities include support of existing functionality and implementing new features, being techno-functionally to drive enhancements and assignments to their successful completion.The candidate must be at ease in translating business requirements into solutions, preparing high-level design specifications, troubleshooting and solution documentation (use case, training etc.) of varying complexity following the predefined standards and best practices.Responsibilities:
- Review and understand business requirements provided by internal customer areas as needed to develop and build technology enhancement options
- Develop & execute project plans
- Create configure data & test scenario plans to validate business requirements
- Track & manage project issue resolution
- Provide project status updates
- Attend joint IT/ business process owner (BPO) project status meetings
- Ensure appropriate BPO and business area involvement & progress on business-side project tasks
- Escalate project issues to management as needed
- Develop documentation and facilitate project transition as needed to ensure effective sustainment handoff
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Information Systems or equivalent experience in related field.
- Background supporting or Super User experience on ERP systems (Infor LN preferred) w/in corporate or consulting firms
- Experience with IT project management and business system implementation, with experience in at least 2 of the following areas: systems analysis, project management, application design and implementation, systems architecture and business analysis.
- Demonstrated business analyst skills in systems implementation

- Professional presence and demeanor in both communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written skills are very essential
- Experience collaborating with others in IT and Business to deliver shared results. Ability to achieve results without necessarily having a reporting relationship
- Demonstrated business systems support and analysis skills
- Basic familiarity with researching and troubleshooting technical issues
- Functional use understanding of business application systems and underlying processes
- Familiar with industry standard SDLC methodologies, tools and techniques
- Well organized, self-motivated individual who can work with little or no direction
- Prioritization of multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff, upper management in both business & technical areas.
