CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a IT Controls System Support.

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, or Associates Degree with 2-3 years of experience

A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as

• 1-3 years in a technical role, support role or relevant experience is ideal

Description

• The position will also participate in or occasionally lead projects to meet the plant's objectives, drive cost reduction efforts and participate in capacity expansion efforts.
• Assist in the management of the warehouse system, as well as coordinating between planners and ERP application engineers.

Requirements:

• Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
• Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
• Some after hours, on-call support may be needed.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors in Computer Science, or Associates Degree with 2-3 years of experience

Desired Skills

• Some knowledge of databases and SQL is strongly desired
• Helpdesk experience
• MS Windows and Microsoft Office
• Experience in production support in a manufacturing environment
• Problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand real needs behind operations requests
