DescriptionLOCATION: Hybrid (remote and Eddystone, PA) RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The IT Coordinator is a junior/entry level position that reports to the Help Desk manager.
  • Support the procurement and setup of new IT devices such as laptops, cell phones, and other approved peripherals.
  • Oversee and facilitate the IT Purchase Request process and provide feedback to management for optimization, bug fixes, or other improvements/changes as needed. Coordinate with Corporate finance staff and line managers to guide their decisions for purchases and manage their expectations for delivery.
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date software and hardware lists and providing this information to IT department for auditing and vulnerability management tasks.
  • Coordinate new hire and termination activities with Human Resources and company management, such as account creation/deletion, group membership assignment, providing training resources, reviewing system access request forms, and obtaining/issuing IT equipment.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and training to personnel in the use of their IT equipment, including but not limited to: enrolling/using Multifactor Authentication, connecting to Delphinus VPN Gateways, connecting to WiFi networks, and use/setup of approved peripheral devices.
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma (required), Associate's Degree or IT Certificate Program preferred
  • Information Assurance Certification (A+), Security + preferred
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-3 years experience in an IT field related to sales, configuration, and end user training of PCs and cell phones.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately provide reports and information to IT department as required.
  • Experience with user and inventory management, asset tracking, computer repair, and shipping.
  • Knowledge and experience with installation, configuration, and use of Windows 10+ laptop computers and common peripherals such as USB HDDs, printers, monitors, and docking stations.
  • Experience with installing PC software on end user machines such as Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, VPN client software.
  • Knowledge and experience with connecting to WiFi networks, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in Virtual Environments including Microsoft Azure or Citrix preferred but not required.
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a security clearance and maintain eligibility during their employment with Delphinus.
