Job Description :

TEKsystems is on the lookout for an experienced IT Desktop Engineer to join their client's Service Desk and Operations team.

As the IT Desktop Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for all things related to end-user technology. From software distribution and patch management to automating processes and improving user experience, your work will play a key role in

modernizing the desktop environment.

This role is based in Green Bay, WI working hybrid, 4 days onsite & 1 day remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and maintain end-user technology solutions.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective strategies to enhance EUT services and operations.
  • Establish end-user hardware and software standards.
  • Lead software distribution and management for various devices and OS.
  • Provide Level 2 support and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Create, test, and develop standard workstation and mobile device images.
  • Package and deploy software and patches using MECM.
  • Create and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security and configuration.
  • Write PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software to meet end-user needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in Service Desk and/or End User Technology engineering.
  • Expert in Windows desktop environments.
  • 5+ years with MECM (SCCM) for software distribution and patch management.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, and Windows 10.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
