IT Desktop Support - US Tech Solutions : Job Details

Duration: 12-month contract with ExtensionJob Description:· Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary· Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers· Maintain and repair computer systems connected to data acquisition systems and lab· instruments.· Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated· Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality· Troubleshoot system local and group policy issues in Microsoft Active Directory· Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies· Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference· Ensure that Internet security software is updated and running properly· Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and· protection from attacks· Test and implement new software programs for the companyExperience:· AS degree in Computer Repair, or relevant field preferred· 01 to 03 years' experience as computer technician or similar roleSoft Skills:· Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems· Excellent PC troubleshooting skills· Able to read and understand technical manuals· Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively· Experience with LAN/WAN networks· Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT componentsEducation:· Associate degree in requiredAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
