  • The IT Desktop Support Technician supports and maintains organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
  • This role supports all internal end-users with timely and effective resolutions. Conduct research and make recommendations for, hardware products in support of procurement and development efforts. Provide computer support, problem analysis, and hardwaresoftware installation and configuration.
  • Analyze, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems. Recommend system improvements to senior team leaders. Maintain client database with up-to-date solutions and clear record of activities.
  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, troubleshooting diagnosis, and resolution for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printingscanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products to deliver required desktop service levels.
  • Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organizations desktop computing environment.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails andor work orders to resolve issues associated with end-user workstations network andor software products.
  • Configure, deploy, and relocate desktops, laptops, printers, and any other related devices. Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
  • AA Degree in Computer Science.
  • 4+ yrs exp in a help desk or IT support role.
  • Exp providing remote support via phone and remote control applications.
  • Hands on hardware troubleshooting and equipment support exp.
Skills Preferred
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+ or Microsoft.
