Job Description :

The IT Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing support and services to our clients and staff at Cunningham Children's Home. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading organizational technology. Equally important is delivering the support and guidance that end-users need to fulfill the agency's mission. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end users for hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Maintain an inventory of technology equipment and assist with upgrades as needed.
  • Offer training and help-desk support to users across the organization.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including USD116 and other contractual staff.
Equipment Used:
  • Windows desktop computers
  • Active Directory/Windows Server platform
  • Microsoft Office and O365
  • VoIP telephones, switches, routers, printers, and copiers
Minimum Education:
  • Associate Degree or 5 years of related experience
Experience:
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and desktop hardware
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware
  • Extensive experience in supporting technology equipment
  • Working understanding of IP networking and network protocols
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
