IT Director - iWorld Professionals : Job Details

iWorld Professionals is seeking an IT Director for our client in Rochester NY. This is an onsite position. IT Director Position Summary: The Director of IT will be responsible to lead the technology strategy for the company working with a small team of people responsible for the design, implementation, and management of IT systems. IT Director Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an IT strategy that supports business objectives and drives innovation.
• Lead a team of IT professionals that take care of the day to day business systems and the infrastructure critical to a multi-site operation
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology investments with the business needs.
• Manage the IT infrastructure for the organization to ensure that the systems are highly available, reliable, and scalable to meet the current and future business needs.
• Manage IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop and implement the appropriate security policies to safeguard the organization's data
• Manage the relationships with IT vendors, ensuring they deliver on service level agreements.

IT Director Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of comparable work experience leading an IT department
• Minimum of 3 years in an IT management or supervisory role with hands-on leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, projects, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server).
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles with experience in implementation of security protocols and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002, SOC2).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Rochester NY.
